Ghost Island Exhibition at Ipswich Town Hall, gallery three, 22 - 26April 2014

Although the research station on Ghost Island was abandoned following the storm of 1987, a small community still lives on the island with the animals that escaped from captivity during the storm. The restrictions on visiting the island have now been lifted and I was intrigued to see how the animals have survived and how the local community is able to live alongside them.
The exhibition comprises pictures of the animals from around the island plus some artefacts from the WWII days when the island was used for secret weapons and radar development alongside Orford Ness
